As reported by the Noticias Argentina Agency and the Río Negro Public Ministry, the hearing took place as part of the investigation into the fire that broke out in the medical facility's parking area. The prosecution presented the evidence gathered during the preliminary investigation phase and requested the adoption of precautionary measures, including the relevant procedural restrictions in accordance with current regulations. The suspect's procedural status will be resolved in the coming days regarding the incident that forced the activation of emergency protocols and led to the intervention of volunteer firefighters and the Provincial Service for Forest Fire Fighting (SPLIF), who worked to contain the fire. The case is now in the hands of the Río Negro Public Ministry. Previously, local media indicated that the fire may have been caused by a spark from an angle grinder in the area of kilometer 1 on Avenida Bustillo, behind the medical establishment.
